The Galhano-Montgomery Duo (Cléa Galhano/Vivian Montgomery) performs music for recorder and harpsichord based on the ground and variation principles, including Rigadoons, a medley of neo-Baroque dances which I wrote for them in 1998. Also on the CD: music of the Italian Baroque; Vivian's striking rendition of the Bach Passacaglia in C minor, and John Morrison's wicked and whimsical Twisted Little Ground.

Also works by Riley, Aitken and Wolfe, performed by Irene Gubrud, Margo Garrett and The Mexico Philharmonic conducted by Paul Freeman, among others.
